Some Words About Shipping

STANDARD FREE SHIPPING:

All purchases totaling $50.00 or more for any US address still receive free shipping via USPS Media Mail with Delivery Track. Average delivery times are 4 to 9 days for this most efficient domestic service - 2 to 4 weeks for AK or HI addresses.

Please be aware that Media Mail is space available. During heavy shipping times, delivery can take up to 21 days or longer in areas served by busy, backed-up terminals. Last December, for instance, these included areas served by the Bell, CA and College Park, MD sorters.

Service for EXPEDITED DELIVERIES:

Especially during the holiday season, or for any special occasion, if you wish to have your package delivered by methods and carriers other than USPS Media Mail, you now have that choice. It works like this:

On the page where you enter your billing / shipping information in the Secure shopping cart and before you click the Submit Information button to proceed to checkout, you are offered a choice of shipping methods. The first on the drop-down list is Media Mail. Other choices include

• USPS Express
• UPS Ground
• UPS 2 Day
• UPS 3 Day Select
• UPS Next Day
• FedEx Ground Service
• FedEx Home Delivery
• FedEx 2 Day
• FedEx Standard Overnight

When you make your choice and proceed to the next page you'll see the charges for the service you selected applied to the invoice. By clicking back and forth between the Billing info and the Payment pages you can compare the amounts for the different services.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING : We can ship almost anywhere. International shipments will be charged actual cost of postage or shipping - no handling fees. The calculators offered on the Secure Shopping Cart are for Air shipping, and are usually very much higher than reality. This is because the USPS offers "FLAT RATE PRIORTY" boxes that hold 4 to 10 books; the actual insured cost is generally between $28 and $56 depending on where you are in the world.

You need do nothing to receive the lowest cost possible; we calculate it and inform you of the actual, lower costs and your resulting refund. You'll get the actual total via email when the package is sent.

Surface shipping to international destinations can no longer be accomplished.
